Email

Use the built-in Endstack inbox, manage approved senders, and let the agent read or send email.

Every Endstack instance has a built-in email inbox that the agent can read from and send through. Messages from approved senders can also trigger the agent remotely.

Where to find email

  • Open Settings → Integrations and find the Email section.
  • Open the native Mail app to read, send, and manage messages from the desktop.

Inbox address

The inbox address is based on your workspace slug:

Workspace slugInbox address
acmeacme@endstack.co
my-teammy-team@endstack.co

In Settings, use the copy control to copy the address or select Open Mail to open the inbox in the Mail app.

Approved senders

The approved-sender list controls which email addresses can trigger the agent remotely.

ControlWhat it does
Add senderAdds an email address to the trigger whitelist.
RemoveRemoves an approved-sender entry that you own.

Only messages from approved senders can start a remote agent run through email. Mail from other senders can still arrive in the inbox and be read in the Mail app, or by the agent during a run you started, but it does not automatically trigger the agent.

An inbound email that does start a run typically appears as an external channel.

Use the Mail app

The native Mail app is the primary interface for the instance inbox. You can:

  • Browse the inbox, threads, and full message content.
  • Send a new message from {slug}@endstack.co.
  • Reply or reply-all in an existing thread.

Open Mail from the dock or launcher, or select Open Mail in the Email section of Settings.

Agent email tools

During a run, the agent can list inbox messages and threads, read messages, send new mail, and reply or reply-all. These are the same inbox capabilities described under Tools.

Tasks can use email as an output channel—for example, to send a daily report.
